In an age when the market is saturated with products it can be nice to get back to nature. Forget about all the products lining the shelves of drugstores and check out these tips for looking beautiful, naturally. You'll find that looking better will also help you feel better about yourself:

Sleep on your back to prevent wrinkles in the décolletage. This position also helps decrease wrinkles on your face and prevents breakouts.

Use a silk pillowcase. Silk is a natural fiber and prevents breakouts and dirt from collecting on the skin. A silk pillowcase also helps prevents wrinkles because it doesn't bunch up like cotton or synthetic fibers.

To prevent nail discoloration use natural nail polish brands, and protect nails by always using a clear base coat. Using a buffer to get rid of ridges also helps make your nails, and therefore your hands, appear younger.

Use ingredients from your kitchen instead of traditional beauty products. Keep a bottle of olive oil on hand in your bathroom, and add a few drops to a bath for moisture. It can also double as shaving cream.

When shaving, don't pull skin, as it can cause ingrown hairs by cutting hairs that are just below the skin's surface.

Stay hydrated. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day for optimum health and glowing skin.

Get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep can cause problem skin as well as dark under-eye circles.

Do like mother told you and stand up straight. Good posture improves your appearance, taking pounds off your middle and accentuating your chest. "People with good posture are often seen as younger, more confident, and happier than those who slouch, round their shoulders, or tilt to one side," says Paul D'Arezzo, MD, a certified emergency physician in Colorado Springs, in an article on Prevention.com. Maintaining good posture can also eliminate a multitude of aches and pains.

Wear a bra that fits. Get rid of old bras that have stretched out, and get fitted. Wearing a properly sized bra helps keep the girls up where they should be, not down where gravity has pulled them.

Whiten up. A smile is a beautiful thing, so don't mar it with yellowed teeth. Avoid teeth staining beverages and foods like coffee, tea and wine and switch to natural teeth whiteners, like green tea and strawberries. For an extra boost, use baking soda to brush your teeth (and freshen your breath).

Not only are these tips easy and natural, but they're also much less expensive than traditional beauty products and medical procedures.
