Looking and feeling younger is something that everyone wants. What is the best way to make that happen? We asked Dr. Ed Park, who was voted as one of “America's Top Doctors” by the Consumers' Research Council of America, for his advice about what the best course of action would be to help a person look and feel years younger.

Younger.com: What is your specialty in the anti-aging arena?

Dr. Park: Since 2003, we've been treating the outward signs of aging with three types of lasers, with Botox, and with injected fillers.

Younger.com: What are your areas of interest in anti-aging as a healthcare provider?

Dr. Park: I became aware of telomerase in 2005, when my father became ill. My personal investigations all pointed to telomerase being the key factor in aging so when TA-65, a small molecule activator of telomerase, became available in 2007, I had to try it myself to see if it worked. It worked so well that for almost two years, I've offered it to patients in my own practice.

Younger.com: What are your recommendations to patients seeking to look younger?

Dr. Park: The best ways to activate telomerase are through exercise, sleep, relaxation, a healthy diet, and the use of supplements. Now, there is a proven and safe way to help your body heal its stem cells, and that is the nutritional supplement called TA-65.

Younger.com: What are the easiest procedures to make a big difference fast?

Dr. Park: The easiest way is to take TA-65, no question. I lost 30 pounds, without diet and exercise, in a matter of three months. My best friend has lost 8 pounds after his first six weeks of taking TA-65.

Younger.com: Do you generally do several procedures at a time?

Dr. Park: If a person wants to see improvement from the inside out, that person needs to find a way to activate telomerase. If you want to look good from the outside in, you need fillers and botox for deep lines. Lasers are great for resurfacing, removing brown spots and veins, and for improving skin thickness.

Younger.com: What are the most requested procedures?

Dr. Park: The most requested procedure is Botox for the forehead and for crow's feet. If a person is going on our anti-aging TA-65 protocol, we like to objectively measure their cognition, vision, lung capacity, arterial stiffness, skin thickness, and bone density.

Younger.com: What personal tips do you have for looking younger?

Dr. Park: You should always wear sunblock when going outside. Don't drive with the windows down. Sleep as much as you can, even taking daytime “catnaps”. Practice three times a week in a Yoga studio, or on your “Wii Fitness” game.

Younger.com: What secrets can you reveal for looking younger?

Dr. Park: I wish it weren't as much of a secret as it is, but TA-65 is the safest way to help your body do what it is constantly trying to do, which is to repair and protect your chromosomes in your crucial stem cells. You can learn more about TA-65 from our CBS news story, called “The Fountain of Youth in a Tiny Capsule?
